What is ZI² Kids, exactly?

A learning platform with an adventure wrapped around it. Here's the honest version — no buzzwords.

📐

A real curriculum

A full K-12 math program: 220 skills mapped to Common Core, and 6,600+ questions that adapt to your child. A mission only counts as mastered when they can actually do it — not when they've clicked through it.

🫡

Character, not politics

Courage, integrity, respect and perseverance — practised through stories of service and everyday choices. We are an independent education company: not affiliated with, endorsed by, or recruiting for the U.S. Armed Forces.

🎮

Games that earn their place

Every game trains something real — focus, reaction time, careful observation, recall, creativity. Kids think they're just playing. That's the point.

📊

You can see everything

A parent dashboard shows what your child has mastered and exactly where they're stuck. Teachers get the same view for a whole class.

What a week actually looks like

  • 10–15 minutes of math missions a day, at their level
  • A game or two — earned, not endless
  • A story or book with a values lesson
  • You check the dashboard whenever you want
About ZI² Kids

Where and how it all began…

We are passionate about educating the next generation about our military heroes and values — designed for kids 4–18, promoting duty, honor and integrity through fun activities.

It all started with Abbie and her two younger brothers. While exploring "the Lord's army," 9-year-old Abbie grabbed a camo-colored house shoe and asked: "Daddy, what does this color represent in the military?" She couldn't find simple, kid-friendly answers — so she created her own, crafting figurines that blend the military values of courage, loyalty and honor with timeless teachings. That spark grew into ZI² Kids — turning playtime into a powerful way to grow leaders of character.

Character

Character, built through practice

Not slogans on a poster. Habits your child practises every session — the kind you notice at home.

🇺🇸

Courage

Trying the harder mission anyway. Speaking up when it's uncomfortable.

Integrity

Doing the right thing when nobody is checking the answer key.

🫡

Respect & gratitude

For teammates, for elders, and for the people who serve.

FAQs

Questions, answered

What will my child actually learn?

The 7 U.S. military branches — their heroes, uniforms and values — through games, quizzes, an illustrated book and the Discovery obstacle course. Plus a complete K-12 math program: 220 Common Core-aligned skills and 6,600+ adaptive questions. Your dashboard shows exactly what they've mastered and where they're stuck.

Is this military recruitment?

No. ZI² Kids is an independent education company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or recruiting for the U.S. Armed Forces. The service setting is the adventure — the substance is curriculum and character.

What ages is it for?

4 to 18 — Pre-K through high school. The math adapts to each child, so siblings at different levels can share one family plan.

Is it really free?

Yes. The free tier includes all of Boot Camp (K-2 math), a taste of every other level, the games and all seven mascots. Premium unlocks the full 220-mission curriculum and deeper practice. No card needed to start.

How much time does it take?

10–15 minutes a day is enough to make real progress. Missions are short on purpose, and the daily streak keeps kids coming back — without you nagging.

Can schools use it?

Yes. A teacher creates a class, students join with a code, and the classroom dashboard shows mastery per student and per standard — so you spot who needs help before the test does.
